It has been revealed that the Netflix series "Gokuaku Joou," starring Yuriyan Retriever, which tells the untold story of Dump Matsumoto, who sparked a boom in women's professional wrestling, has debuted at number one in the "Netflix Weekly TOP 10 (Series)."

"Gokuaku Joou" is a semi-autobiographical drama about Dump Matsumoto, who created a sensation in women's professional wrestling in the 1980s, and was exclusively distributed worldwide on Netflix on September 19th. The series has been well-received by viewers since the first day of distribution, and as of September 24th, it had been ranked number one in Japan's "Today's TOP 10 (Series)" for four consecutive days. It also ranked first in the "Netflix Weekly TOP 10 (Series)," beating "Jinsha-tachi," which had held the top spot for six consecutive weeks.

"Gokuaku Joou" was planned, written, and produced by Osamu Suzuki, and directed by Kazuya Shiraishi. The lead actress, Yuriyan Retriever, plays the role of Dump Matsumoto, while Erika Karata plays the role of Nagayo Chigusa and Ayame Gouriki plays the role of Lioness Asuka.
