The TV anime "Chi. -About the Earth's Movement-", based on the manga by Uo Yutaka, which was also selected as the Manga Grand Prize winner of the 26th Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize, will be broadcast on NHK General TV from 11:45 pm on October 5th. In response to this, a special sticker giveaway fair started on September 25th at bookstores nationwide. The stickers feature characters such as Rafal and Okuji, and customers will receive one for every comic or related book they purchase.

The series was serialized in "Weekly Big Comic Spirits" (Shogakukan) from 2020 to 2022. Set in 15th century Europe, the story depicts people risking their lives to study the heretical theory of heliocentrism. Rafal, a child prodigy, declares that he will major in theology, which was considered the most important subject at the time, in order to live up to the expectations of those around him, but he is unable to abandon his passion for astronomy, which he has been passionate about for a long time. One day, Rafal meets Hubert, a mysterious scholar who is researching a shocking "hypothesis" about the universe... This is the story.

The anime will be produced by Madhouse, the studio behind "Summer Wars." Sakamoto Maaya will play Rafal, a child prodigy who has been allowed to skip a grade and enter university, Tsuda Kenjiro will play Novak, the examiner for heresy, and Hayami Sho will play the mysterious scholar Hubert.
