It has been announced that the light novel comic book adaptation of "The Lady Protected by the Gorilla God is Loved by the Royal Knights," which was born from the novel submission site "Let's Become a Novelist," will be made into a TV anime in 2025. Details of the anime will be announced in the future.
The work is based on an original story by Shirohi and the manga is by Kamisu Mika. This "unprecedented gorilla romantic comedy" is set in a world where people can receive the protection of various animal gods when they turn 16, and depicts the growth of Sophia Leeler, a timid count's daughter who attracts the gorilla god, said to be the strongest in combat. Sophia gains unwanted powers, and her peaceful school life is turned upside down.

When I started writing the previous title of this work, "Have you ever thought about the feelings of a lady protected by the gorilla god?", I honestly thought it would be impossible to make it into a book. However, my current editor approached me about making it into a comic book, and now I have been given the miracle of it being made into an anime. This is all thanks to Mika Kamisu, who makes the original story many times more appealing, the readers who support us, and the gorillas all over the world. Thank you so much! I hope you enjoy the charm of the strong and kind gorillas, and this "gorilla romantic comedy" woven by two romance novices.
