On September 18th, Nippon Television held a briefing on its October rescheduling at its Shiodome location in Tokyo. It called the April ratings "very tough" and announced that it would be reviewing its ratings targets for its general programming strategy. Shinji Enari, head of the general programming center, said, "Once again, we're going to take advantage of the strengths of each program to get the numbers. We're not going to target a specific audience, but rather we're going to make the most of what makes each program interesting to get the numbers."

As a key point in the rescheduling, they cited "Friday 7pm, the ultimate time slot that can only be seen on Nippon Television," and Ninomiya Kazunari's program "Nino-san," which has been featured on the show for 12 years, will move to Friday 7pm prime time, marking its fourth time in that time slot. The program aims to gain overwhelming support from all generations for both broadcast and streaming.

The quiz show "Quiz! Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?", which aired in the same slot, will end in September. The Sunday 10:25am slot, where "Nino-san" used to be broadcast, will be replaced by the variety show "Otameshi Itte Q!", which will be broadcast only from October to November.

Another point of the reorganization is that they will make the morning slot "a better time to utilize the strengths of each network station," and they announced that the weekday morning information program "ZIP!" will be divided into three parts. By making the first part a Kanto local program, they explained that "by creating a distinction between local and national networks, we hope to increase the viewer ratings of each affiliated station and increase the value of the morning slot on Nippon Television."

Part 1 will be broadcast from 5:50am to 6:54am (Kanto local), part 2 from 6:54am to 7:55am (national network *local slots can be replaced), and part 3 from 7:55am to 9:00am (national network).

The restructuring rate was 5.1% for all-day (6am-midnight), 9.7% for golden time (7pm-10pm), and 12.3% for prime time (7pm-11pm).
