The second teaser trailer for the new movie version of the popular anime series "Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Walpurgis no Kaiten" has been released. The teaser trailer also showed what appears to be a new character. The new movie version will be the "legitimate sequel" to "Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie: Rebellion" released in 2013. The staff, including general director Akiyuki Shinbo and screenwriter Gen Urobuchi, will be reuniting. It will be released in winter 2025.
It has also been revealed that the movie version released in 2013, "Rebellion: Rebellion," will be shown again from October 25th to 31st. This was announced at the online event "Aniplex Online Fest 2024" held on September 16th.
