The second season of the anime series "2.5-Dimensional Temptation (LiLiSa)," based on the romantic comedy manga by Hashimoto Yuu, currently being serialized on Shueisha's manga app "Shonen Jump+," has been released on YouTube. It starts with LiLiSa's powerful declaration, "I'm going to appear at Comiket Summer." Nonoa (Noa), Aria, and Mikari also appear, and are shown preparing for Comiket Summer with LiLiSa. It was also announced that Suwabe Junichi will play Hikage Yoichi, the author of "Liliel Gaiden," a spinoff of "Ash Senki." Suwabe commented, "My first impression was, 'W-what?!' The characters in the story are talking about me!?' (laughs). As I continued to read, I came to think that this is a story of self-liberation and affirmation!!" and "I was given the role of someone close to my own age. This character has had a lot going on in the past, so I played him while being sympathetic to his feelings. I hope that it will be a good accent to the story." The theme songs for the second season have also been announced, with Soraru singing the opening theme "Tsugibagi no Tsubasa" and Lilisa, Mikari, Nonoa and Aria singing the ending theme "Release Sigh."
The story follows Masamune Okumura, the head of the Manga Research Club, who has no interest in real women and loves the 2D character Liliel, as he meets Amano Lilisa, a 3D girl who wants to become Liliel. He is touched by the passion and feelings of cosplayers and overcomes hardships to grow as a person. The series began serialization in Shonen Jump+ in 2019. The TV anime is currently airing on TOKYO MX and other stations.
