Little People Series：The second season of the TV anime will start in April 2025. "The Autumn-only Chestnut Kinton Incident" and "The Winter-only Bonbon Chocolat Incident" will be made into anime.

It has been announced that the second season of the TV anime "Little Citizen Series," based on the novel by Honobu Yonezawa, known for "Hyouka" and other works, will be produced and will begin airing in April 2025. The stories "The Autumn-Limited Chestnut Kinton Incident" and "The Winter-Limited Bonbon Chocolat Incident" will be adapted into anime.

Teppei Uenishi, who plays Urino Takahiko, a first-year student at Funato High School who is a member of the newspaper club and plays an important role in the story; Yume Miyamoto, who plays Nakamaru Tokiko, a classmate who confesses her love to Kobato; and Seiichiro Yamashita, who plays Hiyori Yuto, Urino's classmate and friend, have all commented.

Uenishi commented, "There are many fans of both the original and the anime, so I will do my best to act in the role so as not to disappoint everyone. I am feeling both pressure and excitement about what will happen and what we can create with him being added, while still retaining the atmosphere of the first season. The "Little Man Series" is a popular mystery novel series that has sold over 1.1 million copies in total. After a bitter experience with a detective activity called "wisdom work," Kobato Tsunegoro secretly forms a mutually beneficial relationship with his classmate Osanai Yuki, who shares the same aspirations, and intends to live a peaceful life as an ordinary citizen, but for some reason, mysterious incidents and disasters start to happen one after another... This is the story.

The first season is an anime adaptation of the series' "Spring Limited Strawberry Tart Incident" and "Summer Limited Tropical Parfait Incident" (Sogen Mystery Bunko). It is directed by Kobe Mamoru, who has worked on "The Promised Neverland," and produced by Lapin Track, who has worked on "Sarazanmai." It stars Umeda Shuuichirou as Kobato and Hitsujimiya Hina as Osanai. It began airing in July on TV Asahi's late-night anime slot "NUMAnimation," and the final episode aired late at night on September 14th.
