It has been announced that "Sonorio's Music Corps," a new music education program that brings together the staff of NHK Educational TV's "Musica Piccolino," will air on September 27th. The program will feature world-renowned dancer Koharu Sugawara singing and dancing to classic songs.

The program is a fantasy drama that uses classic and modern songs as its theme, expressing not only the "joy of music" but also the joy of "participation." Sugawara plays the leader of a musical corps that travels through "Sonorio," a parallel world created with new CG expressions, and Yamaguchi Minato, Sasaki Yura, and Mochizuki Yuto also appear.

Focusing on "music making," which is now considered important in music education, the program aims to provide a viewing experience that allows even children who feel they are not good at musical instruments or have no sense of pitch to actively participate in music while having fun through performances that include sound play such as clapping and shouting, and physical expressions such as imitating instruments and dancing.

Two episodes will be aired consecutively from 4:10 pm on September 27th.
