The 11th episode of the TV anime "Grendizer U," a reboot of the TV anime "UFO Robot Grendizer" by Go Nagai, titled "Teronna," will be broadcast on TV Tokyo and other networks from September 13th. Berlin was destroyed by the Super Vega Howitzer. Evil is spreading across the Earth, and its target is being directed at Duke. To stop further conflict, Rubina and Duke secretly meet up.

"UFO Robot Grendizer" is the third installment of Nagai's "Mazinger" series, following "Mazinger Z" and "Great Mazinger." It depicts the alien Duke Freed driving the giant robot Grendizer to fight against the approaching evil. It was serialized in "TV Magazine" (Kodansha) from 1975 to 1976, and the TV anime aired from 1975 to 1977. Despite being a long-running 74-episode anime, it recorded an average viewer rating of over 20%, and gained popularity around the world, including in Europe, the Middle East, and South America.

The new anime will be directed by Fukuda Mitsuo, who has worked on Mobile Suit Gundam SEED and Future GPX Cyber Formula, with character design by Sadamoto Yoshiyuki, who has worked on Neon Genesis Evangelion and Summer Wars. Ichiro Okouchi, who has worked on Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch of Mercury and Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, will be in charge of series composition and scriptwriting, while Kohei Tanaka, who has worked on One Piece and Sakura Wars, will be in charge of music, bringing together a star-studded staff.
