Magirumie Co., Ltd.：Chika Anzai becomes a magical girl; Akira Ishida plays President Ast

It has been announced that Anzai Chika and Ishida Akira will be appearing as voice actors in the TV anime "Majirumie Co., Ltd.", which is based on a manga currently being serialized on Shueisha's manga app "Shonen Jump+." Anzai Chika will play Tsuchiba Mei, a magical girl from AST Corporation, the industry's largest magical girl company, while Ishida Akira will play Koga Kei, the president of AST Corporation, who has some sort of feud with Shigemoto. Anzai commented, "Tsuchba Mei, whose voice I provide, is a very hard-working person who thinks rationally in order to achieve her goals. She is so calm and unwavering that she seems to be somewhat hostile towards emotional and gutsy theories. I think the clash between her thoughts and Magirumie's policies is one of the interesting parts of this series, so I would like to give it my all! Please look forward to the broadcast!" Ishida said, "You could say that Koga is a villain born out of the setting that magical girls are run by a company. His rationalist management style makes him the enemy of compassionate people. His behavior would likely be criticized in the real world, but it's not against the law, and it's hard to say it's wrong for a manager to have such an attitude. I find the reality that is the polar opposite of idealism and favoritism to the underdog interesting."

The first of a series of company introduction poster-style visuals designed with the company philosophies of each company's magical girls and employees has been released. The visuals depict the members of Ast, which calls itself "the leading company in the magical girl industry" and upholds the philosophy that "we will continue to evolve in order to contribute to rescue from strange disasters around the world and to revolutionize the common sense of the magical girl industry."

"Magichiro Mie Co., Ltd." is an action manga about work and magical girls, written by Iwata Setsuka and illustrated by Aoki Yutaka. Set in a world where natural disasters known as "kaii" exist and magical girls who exterminate them are recognized as a coveted profession, the story follows the protagonist Sakuragi Kana, who joins the venture company Magirumier Co., Ltd. as a new graduate and struggles as a working adult and magical girl. It has become a hot topic, ranking third in the web manga category of the "Next Manga Awards 2022".

The anime will be directed by Hiraoka Masahiro and produced by Moe and J.C.STAFF. Fairouz will play Sakuragi Kana, a new magical girl at Magirumier Co., Ltd., and Hanamori Yumiri will play Koshigaya Hitomi, a senior magical girl who has a rough personality but is caring, and who teaches Kana how to prepare herself as a magical girl. It will be broadcast every Friday at 11pm from October 4th on Nippon Television's anime slot "FRIDAY ANIME NIGHT (Fura-ani)".
