On September 19th, TV Tokyo held a program lineup briefing for October at its headquarters (Minato-ku, Tokyo). It was announced that the Friday 30-minute late-night slot "Drama 24" will be used to broadcast the TV Tokyo 60th anniversary drama "Sorezore no Kodoku no Gurume," which will begin on October 4th, in a special 40-minute slot. Contents Programming Director Kudo Hitomi explained, "For TV Tokyo, 'Kondoku' has been an important content for 12 years. This time, the style is a little different, so we can depict more than in previous times. We wanted to portray it properly, so we extended the broadcast time a little. It is because it is 'Kondoku' that we extended the broadcast time."

"Sorezore no Kodoku no Gurume" is the first omnibus-style work in the series, conceived and planned by Matsushige Yutaka, who played the main character Inogashira Goro in "Kondoku no Gurume." It focuses on not only Goro, but also the gourmet food and solo meals of people from various professions. It will be broadcast from 12:12 to 12:52 midnight on Fridays from October 4th.

Producer Komatsu Yukitoshi, who attended the programming briefing, said, "It's a new format for a solitary gourmet show," and explained, "In the past, guests have appeared as store clerks, but they never ate there. This time, the guest will be the main character and eat at the restaurant. Goro will eat, and the guest will eat. It's not a comparison of the two of them, but it's a packed format where you can see each of their gourmet foods in the restaurant." He said that in addition to women, "people from various professions" will appear, and appealed, "There is a scene where Goro and the guest eat together in the same picture, so please pay attention to it."

It was also announced that, for the first time since its start in October 2005, "Tokoro-san's School Doesn't Oshiete Soko-n Tokoro!", which is currently airing at 9 p.m. on Fridays, will be moved to 8 p.m. on Fridays. MC Tokoro George said in a video comment, "There are some kids who fall asleep at 9 p.m., so I think it's finally time for those kids to watch it. I think it's too late to move to 8 p.m. (laughs)!" Replacing the show, the Friday 8pm drama slot "Drama 8" will become "Drama 9" at 9pm.

TV Tokyo's reorganization rates for October were 10.4% for golden time (7pm-10pm), 7.8% for prime time (7pm-11pm), and 5.0% for all day (6am-midnight).
