It has been announced that the first chapter of the new anime film "Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club: Final Chapter," a trilogy based on the popular "Love Live!" series, will be featured in issue 174 of the magazine "Quick Japan" (Ohta Publishing), which goes on sale on October 9th. In addition to the regular edition, the issue will also have a special cover edition with Aguri Onishi, who plays Ayumu Uehara, Koko Hayashi, who plays Setsuna Yuki, Akari Kito, who plays Kanata Omi, and Chiemi Tanaka, who plays Rina Tennoji, on the cover. This is the first time in the history of "Quick Japan," which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, that a special cover edition has been produced.

The issue will feature a roundtable discussion between Onishi, Kito, Hayashi, and Tanaka, a conversation between Onishi, Hayashi, Kito, and Tanaka about the highlights of the first chapter of the final chapter, and newly taken photos.

The cover illustration for the mini-album "Dokodemo Kimi wa Kimi" containing the theme song for the first chapter of the final series was also released. Six cover illustrations were released: the theme song version, the Uehara Ayumu version, the Sakurazaka Shizuku version, the Omi Kanata version, the Emma Verde version, and the Kanarashi Tama version. The mini-album will be released on September 25th.

The Nijigasaki High School Idol Club began its activities in 2017, following on from Love Live!'s μ's and Love Live! Sunshine!!'s Aqours. The series depicts the daily activities of members of the School Idol Club at Nijigasaki High School, a private high school in Odaiba, Tokyo, as they aim to become the number one school idol, sometimes as rivals and sometimes as friends.

The first season of the TV anime aired from October to December 2020, and the second season from April to June 2022. The new episode, an original video animation (OVA), Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club NEXT SKY, was released in theaters in June 2023. The final part will be a trilogy, with the first chapter being released on September 6th.
