TV Tokyo's popular information variety show "Appear! Ad Street Heaven" (Saturday 9pm). The September 7th broadcast will feature Atami (Shizuoka Prefecture), a popular Showa-era resort known as the "Monaco of the Orient" and now experiencing a resurgence in popularity.
Title: "Delicious Atami," the show will focus on Atami as a "gourmet town." It will introduce a restaurant offering heaping servings of seafood rice bowls and all-you-can-eat sashimi, a hamburger from a famous cafe beloved by Mishima Yukio, shumai made by a master chef, pork cutlet curry with a "five-day frozen roux," and crispy pie crust pizza from a long-established Italian restaurant.
In addition, popular "photogenic" sweets such as giant crepes and strawberry daifuku, a pudding parfait from a cafe with a spectacular view, and exquisitely hand-made soba and oshiruko from an old-fashioned house will also be featured.
