It has been announced that "After Leaving an A-Rank Party, I Aim for the Depths of the Labyrinth with My Former Students," a light novel that gained popularity on a web novel posting site and is also popular as a comic book, will be made into a TV anime and will be broadcast nationwide on 30 Nippon Television affiliates from January 2025. It will be directed by Katsumi Ono and produced by Bandai Namco Pictures. It was also announced that Mineta Hiromu will play the protagonist Yuke, and Ina Usui will play Marina, Kawaida Natsumi will play Silk, and Hieda Nene will play Rain as voice actors.
The story is a labyrinth-conquering fantasy in which the protagonist Yuke, who is forced to leave a party that is one of the top in the adventurer world, suddenly joins a rookie party made up of his former students and takes on various missions in pursuit of his dream. It is published by K Ranobe Books (Kodansha), and the series has sold over 1 million copies in total.
