"Bocchi the Rock!" is a music manga that has been serialized since 2018. The story is about a lonely guitar-loving girl, Goto Hitori, who ends up joining a cable band led by Ijichi Nika through an unexpected turn of events. The TV anime aired from October to December 2022 and gained popularity.
The first part of the theatrical compilation was released on June 7th, grossing 640 million yen and attracting over 420,000 viewers. The second part was released on August 9th, and the combined box office revenue exceeded 1.1 billion yen, making it a hit.
