A figure of Rick Dias from the anime Mobile Suit Z Gundam was released on August 30th as part of Bandai Spirits' "ROBOT Spirits" series, titled "ROBOT Spirits
The Rick Dias is an early mass-produced machine developed by AEUG as a new type of MS (mobile suit), and is piloted by veteran pilots Apollo and Roberto. It features a monoeye and body typical of Zeon developers, and is more technologically advanced than the Earth Federation Forces, using lightweight Gundarium γ and adopting a panoramic monitor.
The figure faithfully reproduces the proportions of the original design. The wide range of motion in the chest and abdomen allows for natural posing. The backpack is also movable. It also has a gimmick where the head cover unfolds to reveal a Vulcan Phalanx.
In addition to the clay bazooka, beam pistol, and beam saber, it comes with interchangeable wrists that recreate the firing of the flywheel launcher. Total height is approximately 13cm.
