It has been announced that a new short anime will be produced to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the anime adaptation of Chugaku Akamatsu's popular light novel "Aria the Scarlet Ammo." Further details will be announced in the future.
"Aria the Scarlet Ammo" is a light novel written by Akamatsu Chugaku and illustrated by Kobuichi. It depicts the battles of Toyama Kinji, who attends Tokyo Butei High School, which trains "Butei" (armed detectives) who can fight heinous crimes with force, and Kanzaki H. Aria, an S-rank Butei. The series has sold over 9 million copies in total.
The TV anime "Aria the Scarlet Ammo" aired from April to July 2011, and the TV anime "Aria the Scarlet Ammo AA," based on a spin-off manga, aired from October to December 2015.
