The second episode of the drama series "Toki Sude ni Osushi!?" (TBS, Tuesdays at 10 PM), starring actress Hiromi Nagasaku, aired on April 14th, and it has been revealed that the average viewership ratings (according to Video Research, Kanto region) were 4.9% for households and 2.7% for individuals.
The drama tells the story of Minato Machiyama (played by Nagasaku), who, having finished raising her children, is bewildered by the newfound free time she has at the age of 50, but begins her second life and jumps into a "sushi academy" where she can become a sushi chef in three months. The cast includes Kenichi Matsuyama, First Summer Uika, Motoki Nakazawa, Soma Santoki, and Shiro Sano.
Episode 2 was titled "Horse Mackerel and My Own Taste."
Minato (Nagasaku) is determined to continue attending the sushi academy after hearing Oedo's (Matsuyama) words. One day, Kurumi, frustrated with the fact that she's only doing basic exercises and not allowed to make sushi, goes to Oedo for a talk, and is given the task of "showing your own style with a single horse mackerel dish, and you'll be able to move on to making nigiri." In contrast to Kurumi (First Summer Uika), who is excited at the chance to show her strengths, Minato begins to doubt what her "own style" is. Meanwhile, an incident occurs in Oedo's class... and the story unfolds from there.
