Freelance announcer Misato Ugaki appeared at the ceremonial opening pitch at the professional baseball game between the Tokyo Yakult Swallows and the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks, held at Meiji Jingu Baseball Stadium (Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo) on June 8th.

The opening pitch ceremony was sponsored by "Happy Kuji" by Sunny Side Up, and was held as "Flip and Happy! Happy Kuji Day." Ugaki, My Melody, and Kuromi also made an appearance.
