On June 2nd, a special stage event celebrating Toei Animation's 70th anniversary was held at the 45th Yokohama Port Festival currently taking place in Yokohama. Toei Animation characters such as Pero, Cure Answer, Cure Mystic, and Cure Arcana Shadow from the "Pretty Cure" series "Detective Pretty Cure!", Agumon and Geckomon from the "Digimon " series, and Oshiri Tantei and Oshiri Dandy from " Oshiri Tantei " gathered to enjoy dancing and quizzes with the children.
Oshiri Tantei and Oshiri Dandy taught the children the choreography to the anime's theme song, "Puputto Fumutto Kaiketsu Dance," and danced along with them, shaking their cute bottoms.
Agumon and Geckomon presented quizzes. The quizzes included questions such as, "What kind of attack does Agumon use?", "What kind of attack does Geckomon use?", and "What do Agumon and Geckomon like?".
Finally, Cure Answer, Cure Mystic, and Cure Arcana Shadow appeared and performed a dance to the opening theme song, "A Hint for Your Heart! Detective Precure!". They then taught the children the dance to the ending theme song, "Why? Mystery?! ANSWER," and enjoyed dancing together.
The 45th Yokohama Port Opening Festival is a public festival celebrating the opening of Yokohama Port. A stage event was held to commemorate Toei Animation's 70th anniversary in July. Toei Animation, celebrating its 70th anniversary, will continue to spread the appeal of anime to the world with the slogan "Love for anime, dreams for the world."
