It was revealed on May 31st that a theatrical anime film adaptation of "Paradox Live THE ANIMATION," the TV anime series from the hip-hop themed media mix project "Paradox Live," is in production. The "film adaptation" was announced at the "Paradox Live Dope Show 2026" held at Ariake Arena (Koto Ward, Tokyo) on the same day.
A promotional video for the animated film has been released, revealing that in addition to "BAE," "The Cat's Whiskers," "cozmez," "Akkan Yatsura," and "Buraikan," who appeared in the TV anime that aired from Tatsuki Fujimoto 17-26," will be producing the animated film. Further details, such as the story and release date, will be announced in the future.
It was also announced that "Paradox Live" will begin its new chapter, "4th SEASON," in September. A teaser PV announcing the start of the new season was released. Along with the sound of a camera shutter, images of newspaper articles were displayed, and intriguing keywords such as "Phantometal," "The wave of ●● (censored) is spreading," and "CLUB Paradox" appeared, although some of the words were censored.
The project also announced the production of its first-ever cover song, the launch of a new season of the stage adaptation project "Paradox Live on Stage (ParaSta)," and the implementation of a new project "LOOK BOOK ~Paradox Live 2026 four moods~" which will unveil newly drawn illustrations of 29 characters.
"Paradox Live" is a project that launched in November 2019. Set in a near-future Japan, it depicts teams competing in stage battles to become number one with their music. A total of 29 voice actors, singers, and actors are participating. The TV anime aired from October to December 2023.
