The third episode of the TV Asahi drama series "My Cheating Husband with 3 Months to Live" (Fridays at 11:15 PM, excluding some regions), starring actor Jin Shirasu, will air on May 8th.
Architect Aoi Kosaka (played by Shirasu), who has been diagnosed with a malignant tumor and given three months to live, struggles to balance his illness with his work, but is confronted with the harsh reality that his wife Mizuki (played by Kohei Shoji Hinako) is having an affair, by his junior colleague Kazuki Iwasaki (Yua Shinkawa Kohei), his colleague Mari Fujino (played by Hinami Mori), and his sister Kaede (played by Mori Hinami).
Shocked, Aoi first investigates Mizuki's affair partner, Kenji Sunayama (Mitsunori Takahashi). After tracking down Kenji's company, Aoi and Iwasaki go to investigate. The two stake out the cafe on the first floor and witness Kenji cheerfully cheering up a subordinate who is downcast after making a mistake. Seeing Kenji's reliable side, Aoi can't help but feel defeated.
Meanwhile, Aoi is hospitalized for chemotherapy. Kaede, who is accompanying Aoi in place of Mizuki who is going on a farewell trip for a colleague, sees Aoi suffering from severe side effects, and her hatred for Mizuki intensifies.
The farewell trip for her colleague was a complete lie, and Mizuki went to a hot spring inn with Kenji, where they had a great time, including soaking in the hot springs together. However, Kenji told her to change the beneficiary of Aoi's life insurance policy from both Mizuki and her son, Ren (played by Koshirou Ono), to just Mizuki.
Aoi's suspicion of Mizuki's actions grows. Seeing this, Mari decides to work at the club where Mizuki works on a trial basis. With the help of Chico (Rio Teramoto), she investigates the relationship between Mizuki and Kenji, and uncovers a shocking truth. Upon learning this truth, Aoi begins to suspect that Ren might not be her child.
