To commemorate the conclusion of the "Rascal Does Not Dream of Dear Friends" series with the theatrical anime film "Rascal Does Not Dream Does Not Dream of Rascal Does Not Dream," the fourth memorial visual of the heroine has been released. It depicts Mai Sakurajima in a bunny girl outfit, accompanied by the tagline, "...I'm surprised. You can still see me." The fifth visual will be released on April 26th at 8 PM.
The "Rascal Does Not Dream" series is a light novel written by Hajime Kamoshida and illustrated by Keiji Mizoguchi, with "adolescent syndrome," a condition that occurs during adolescence, as its key theme. The original novels have sold over 3 million copies in total.
The TV anime "Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai" aired from October to December 2018. The theatrical anime "Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl" was released in June 2019, "Rascal Does Not Dream of a Sister Venturing Out Rascal Does Not Dream of a Knapsack Kid" was released on December 1st of the same year.
