The second main visual for the TV anime "The Classroom of a Black Cat and a Witch," based on the latest work by Yosuke Kaneda, known for manga such as "Boarding School Juliet," has been released. The visual shows Spica activating her Virgo Magic, and features a gathering of students from Claude Coven whom Spica will meet.
The manga has been serialized on the web service "Magazine Pocket" (Kodansha) since March 2022. The story follows Spica Virgo, a witch-in-training with no money, connections, or magical abilities, who forms a master-apprentice relationship with a mysterious black cat that can speak human language and use magic.
The anime will be directed by Naoyuki Tatsurin and produced by Liden Films. Kaede Hondo will voice Spica Virgo, a witch in training, and Nobunaga Shimazaki will voice Claude Sirius, a magician who has been transformed into a cat by a curse.
It will air for two consecutive seasons, every Sunday at 11:30 PM starting April 12th, as part of the "Agaru Anime" anime block on CBC TV and TBS.
