Actress Yuki Uchida announced on her official website on April 3rd that she had married former actor and manager Takashi Kashiwabara.
The official website announced, "We are deeply grateful for all the kind words we have received. As reported in some media outlets, Takashi Kashiwabara and Yuki Uchida have registered their marriage." It continued, "Having spent a long time together both professionally and personally, we have already shared our relationship with the media, so we refrained from making another announcement. We hope you will understand why we are making this announcement in this manner."
They continued, "The time we have spent together has taken the form of a family. We will continue to hold hands and cherish kindness as we go about our daily lives. We would be grateful if you would continue to watch over us warmly," and concluded with, "We look forward to your continued support."
