The ninth episode of the TBS Sunday drama "Reboot," starring Ryohei Suzuki, aired on March 22nd (Sundays at 9 PM). The episode seemed to identify the spy within the police force, Goroku (Yukiya Kitamura), but some viewers began to question it, saying things like, "I have a feeling that's not the case," and "He's not a real spy."

Cornered, Hayase (Suzuki) and Natsumi (Toda Erika) went to Makita (Ito Hideaki) and asked for his cooperation. Hayase also tried to enlist Fuyuhashi (Nagase Ren), but was caught by Kiriya (Fujisawa Ryoka). Natsumi learned from Kaieda (Yoshi Sakou) the date and place where Goroku would hand over 10 billion yen to Makita Yaichi (Ichikawa Danjuro), and trusted Makita to relay the information.
When Natsumi appeared, saying she wanted to talk to him alone, Goroku coldly told her, "You think you can take down me and my organization tomorrow. I know the time and place of the deal have been leaked to the police." When Goroku led Natsumi to a private room in the restaurant, she found Makita and Yaichi there.
To Natsumi's surprise, Makita coldly laughed and said, "Natsumi, you've done well. Well, as you can see, I was one of us all along." Yaichi then sneered, "I'm glad I put you on guard within the police force."
Social media was abuzz with comments like, "So it was Makita after all!", "So Makita was the traitor after all. You can't falsify documents unless you're in a high position," "Makita was the spy inside the police! I have a feeling that's not the case though," and "Maybe Makita isn't a real spy."
In the same episode, there was a scene in which Hayase instructed Adachi (Aju Makita) to check the security cameras in the locker room of the First Investigation Division in order to expose a traitor within the police force. On social media, some people commented, "There are still security cameras in the lockers. I guess that person is a police spy," "I think Makita isn't the real traitor, it's someone else. There are still security cameras in the lockers," and "The person caught on the security camera in the lockers that Adachi was looking at was either Mikami (Tetsuya Ikeda) or Teramoto (Daisuke Nakagawa), and I predict Makita's younger brother is innocent."
