"Detective! Night Scoop" (ABC TV, Fridays at 11:17 PM) is a popular variety show where "detectives" tackle bizarre requests and worries submitted by viewers. On March 20th, Detective Takanori Takeyama investigated a "giant safe that absolutely won't move!?" Mari Okabe, the second secretary, appeared as a special director.
The request came from a 42-year-old woman in Gifu Prefecture. She explained that her house has an empty safe that is incredibly heavy, and that her husband and she can't budge it even with pushing and pulling. She's considering moving out of the house in the future, but she's worried that if she can't move this safe, she won't be able to sell the house. Even if she does manage to sell it, she doesn't know how to remove it if the buyer asks for it.
As we continue to grow older, this safe is a bit too small for the two of us, but it's our only option as a coffin. We haven't found anyone to take it yet, but if we could just find out that the safe can be moved, it would make our lives a little easier. We're asking if you could check if the safe can be moved.
The safe is on the first floor, measuring 170 cm high, 110 cm wide, and 90 cm deep. It has Caster on the bottom, but it can only move forward and backward. Of course, even Takeyama couldn't budge it when he pushed. So, they called in two strong men who had appeared on the show before. But even those two were defeated. So, with four of them trying to move it, they finally managed to create a gap between it and the back wall! However, moving it forward would block the water heater, so they had to move it sideways. So, they contacted a specialist known as a "heavy lifter," who works on construction sites... Who exactly is this "heavy lifter" who showed such amazing work!?
