To commemorate the release of the second volume of the manga "Subaru and the Comet" by Shuichi Shigeno, known for manga such as "Initial D" and "MF Ghost," on March 6th, the first volume has been made available for free on the website "Young Magazine Web," run by the magazine in which it is serialized, until March 1st.
This manga follows "Initial D" and its "successor," "MF Ghost." The story begins one year after Takumi Fujiwara's student, Kanata Rivington, dominates the MFG street race, and Subaru Sato from Gunma and Comet Kudo from Kanagawa are fired up to take on the challenge... The worldviews of "Initial D" and "MF Ghost" overlap, depicting the "legend of the true fastest car on public roads" created by the two "Subarus."
The series began serialization in Young Magazine in July 2025.
