Actor Dean Fujioka attended NTT Docomo's "Lemino Content Presentation 2026" held in Tokyo on February 19th, where he revealed that he had been in South Korea for work.
Lemino will be streaming the fourth installment of PRODUCE 101 JAPAN, the survival audition program that produced JO1, INI, and ME:I, entitled PRODUCE 101 JAPAN New World, from March 26th. Dean serves as the "national producer representative."
Dean, who was staying in Korea to participate in the program, said, "I had a strong connection with Korea when I was a student, but I never had the opportunity to work there after entering the workforce. This was my first time working in Korea."
When asked what new challenges she would like to take on in relation to the program, she reflected, "(In Korea) I felt that the culture was close yet far, similar yet completely different. Since I can't speak Korean, I naturally thought that my next challenge would be to be able to speak Korean, and I thought that was a huge change. (In the future) I would be happy if I could try many different things in Korea as well."
