Actor Toshiro Yanagiba will be a guest on the MBS talk variety show "Itaikai! Akashiya TV," which will air on February 14th from 3:30 pm.
Yanagiba nervously asks Akashiya Sanma, with whom he is appearing together for the first time in about 11 years, "Do you hate me?" Sanma answers immediately, leaving Yanagiba in a daze.
Sanma then presses him, saying, "You know how much trouble you've caused me, right?", and recounts a time when Yanagiba had been at his mercy over alcohol, and how he "put a huge dent in my leg" during a period drama. Yanagiba freezes, saying, "I can't move my legs, I'm so nervous," but still expresses his desire to co-star with Sanma, and his words make Sanma burst into laughter.
When an audience member asked a direct question, "What's the biggest mistake you've made recently?", Yanagiba replied with a wry smile, "I guess it was a drinking mistake." He currently lives with his family in his hometown of Akita Prefecture, and revealed an astonishing story about how he got completely drunk on a snowy day and was saved just in time by his wife. Sanma screamed, "I'm not going with you!"
