"Shinjuku Anime Song Scope" is a program where Higuchi Sho, the anime buyer at Tower Records Shinjuku, known for its extensive selection of anime songs, reports on best-selling anime songs and direct feedback from the sales floor. The number one song at the store from January 26th to February 1st was singer Asaka's first cover album, "Sing That SONG!!".

The number one album, "Sing That SONG!!," is a cover album released to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Asaka's debut. It features covers of popular anime songs such as "The Day the Kamome Flew" and "Aa Mujou," as well as the classic "Lion" from the anime series "Macross F."
Coming in second place is the CD "THE IDOLM@STER SHINY COLORS Song for Prism QUEEN OF THE PIRATES/Kirapiko.exe/Sleepless Nights/Ai Kyou" from the game "THE IDOLM@STER SHINY COLORS Song for Prism (Shanison)." It features songs from four units: "Antique," "After School Climax Girls," "Alstroemeria," and "Cometic." Coming in third place is "THE IDOLM@STER MILLION BATTLE OF THE@TER 04 Mysterious Discovery Lab!", which features music from an in-game event in the popular game "THE IDOLM@STER MILLION LIVE! Theater Days (Mirishita)."
Coming in at 4th, 9th, and 10th place are the third singles of Shinozawa Hiro, Himesaki Rina, and Shiun Seika, who appear in the smartphone app "Gakuen Idolmaster (Gakumas)."
In fifth place was "Shoot for the Moon," a single by Hoshimachi Suisei, a member of the popular VTuber group Hololive, and in eighth place was "Goddess of Victory: NIKKE [Old Tales]," the original soundtrack for the smartphone game "Goddess of Victory: NIKKE."

He first became interested in anime through 1990s works such as "Neon Genesis Evangelion," "BLUE SEED," and "VS Knight Ramune & 40 Flames," and among anime songs, he loves listening to character songs, especially songs related to idol anime. His favorite anthem is "Up! 10sion Pleeeeeeeeease!" from "The Idolmaster Million Live!" His favorite anime and games include "Pretty Rhythm," "The Idolmaster," "Photo Kano," and "Sakura Wars."
