The fourth episode of the drama series "Mirai no Musuko" (TBS, Tuesdays at 10pm), starring actress Shida Mirai, was broadcast on February 3rd, and the average viewership rating (according to Video Research, Kanto region, same below) was 4.4% for households and 2.5% for individuals.
The drama is based on the popular manga "My Future Son: A Son Came Down From Heaven After 10 Years of Singles!" written by Kumiko Aso and illustrated by Hajime Kuromugi. The story follows a woman who is half-hearted in love, work and dreams, but suddenly becomes a mother. Through raising her child, she learns about the importance of living and supporting others, and starts living again. This is Shida's first role as a mother in 20 years, since the 2006 drama "14-Year-Old Mother" (NTV).
Episode 4 was titled "A new development in the search for the father! What saves the father and son from a difficult situation..."
Amid suspicions that the troupe leader is the father, a new "Ma-kun" appears. Though she spends happy days with her son, the new mother is busy with acting and raising her child. But then an unexpected problem arises between the two...
