To commemorate the release of the latest 24th volume of the popular manga "Ao no Hako" by Koji Miura, which is currently being serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha), on February 4th, a promotional video in collaboration with "Teenage Blue," the ending theme for the first season of the TV anime, was released on YouTube. The video features a new acoustic version created by Eve, who also composed the song, and expresses the idea of "a box full of youth."
"Ao no Hako" began serialization in April 2021 in Weekly Shonen Jump. Set at Sakaeme High School, a powerhouse of sports from junior high to high school, the story centers around a youthful club love story in which Inomata Taiki, a member of the boys' badminton club, falls in love with Shikano Chinatsu, a senior member of the girls' basketball club. The comic has sold over 9.6 million copies in total.
The first season of the TV anime aired from October 2024 to March 2025. The second season will air on TBS this fall.
