Actor Sasaki Kuranosuke stars in the NHK BS period drama "Fuurai Cloud" (NHK BS/BS Premium 4K, Sundays at 6:45 pm). The subtitle of the fifth episode, which will be broadcast on February 1st, is "Sensei, Fall in Love," and the synopsis and scene cuts have also been released.

"Fuurai Cloud" is a period drama based on the manga of the same name by George Akiyama. The setting is Shinagawa-shuku at the end of the Edo period. "Fuurai Cloud" is an eccentric man who wears a woman's kimono and has his hair tied in front of his forehead. With a fluffy and elusive appearance, he lives his days freely, but before you know it, he gently changes the destinies of others. It is a hymn to humanity filled with laughter and tears.
In the fifth episode, Shinnosuke (Kawahara Eito), the son of Furau Kumo (Sasaki), is influenced by his cram school teacher, Aota (Watanabe Gota), and worries about the future of the country, leading him to form the Ipponmatsu Youth Corps.
However, not knowing what to do, he follows Furakumo's advice and devotes himself to cleaning up the town. When Aota finds out about this, he is disappointed that Furakumo has such low aspirations and lashes out at him. However, he falls in love at first sight with O-Kiyaku (Karata Erika), a maid at the teahouse the two of them go to, and Aota approaches O-Kiyaku under the pretext of teaching her how to read and write... and so the story unfolds.
