It has been revealed that actor Masaki Okada has wrapped up filming for the TV drama "A Little Esper" (TV Asahi, Tuesdays at 9pm).
Okada, who played the two mysterious key roles of Cho, who issues orders to the main character Bunta (played by Yo Oizumi) and others from the future (2055), and Bunjin, who lives in the present day, said with a smile, "I couldn't have played this role on my own. I felt like it was a role created for me by all the staff." He finished filming with a deep sense of emotion, saying, "I was also able to shoot scenes of the happy past between Shiki (played by Aoi Miyazaki) and Bunjin, so it felt like a reward."
There are only two episodes left of the drama. Episode 8, which will air on Getsuku, will reveal the reason why Cho will change the world.
The original screenplay for this work is by Akiko Nogi, known for works such as "Unnatural" and "MIU404." Bunta, a salaryman at rock bottom, transfers to a mysterious company called Nonamare, where he becomes a "slight esper." Under the rule of NON AMARE (not loving people), he and his friends embark on a mission to "save the world."
