The 50th episode of the NHK Asadora drama "Bakebake " (General TV, Monday to Saturday 8:00 AM and others), starring Akari Takaishi , was broadcast on December 5th, and viewers were drawn to the preview of the 11th episode, "Ganbare, Ojo-sama" (December 8th to 12th), which was released after the main program.
In episode 50, the day of Toki (Takaishi) and Kotani (Shimokawa Kyohei)'s promised date was approaching. Unbeknownst to Toki, the Matsuno family had decided to support Kotani, and while they were all nervous, Kotani formally asked Toki to rendezvous with him before he left for work. On the day itself, Kotani took Toki to Seikoin Temple, a famous ghost story spot that Toki knows well. Finally, Kotani confessed his feelings to Toki... and so the story unfolded.
In the preview for next week's episode, which was released after the main story ended, Rio ( Kana Kita) declares war on Toki, saying, "It's going to be tough to win over the teacher." The scene changes to Heaven (Tommy Bastow) toasting with a strange woman. Snake (Watanabe Eriko) and Frog (Kimura Miho) are asking, "Who is Heaven-sensei with?" When Heaven says, "I love you," Snake and Frog are shocked and exclaim, "Oh my God!"
On social media, people were saying things like, "I shouted 'Whaaaaat?!'" "This week we saw a gradual change in their feelings for each other... but then... who will it be next week?" "What's with the "I love you" in the preview?!" "Who is the woman he's saying "I love you" to?" "Is it something from Heaven-sensei's past?" "I'm really curious to see what happens next week."
