The seventh episode of the fifth season of the TV drama series " Emergency Interrogation Room ," starring Yuki Amami (TV Asahi, Thursdays at 9 p.m.), will air on December 4th. Popular tidying advisor Akie Akazawa (Kaga)'s husband, Joji Akazawa (Fujimoto), who is 24 years younger than her, was arrested on suspicion of attempting to murder her.
After a successful career as a star rugby player, Joji became a personal gym trainer and married Akie, whom he met at the gym. However, he was mocked by the public as a "suspected cheat," and as soon as news of his arrest broke, there was a lot of talk that the crime was "for the inheritance." In fact, one week before the incident, Akie updated the contents of her will, changing the beneficiary of all her assets from a charity to Joji, making it extremely likely that Joji was guilty.
Meanwhile, Joji completely denies committing the crime. He forms a legal team and threatens to sue the Metropolitan Police Department for mistaken arrest. Even during questioning by the Emergency Response Investigation Team (commonly known as Kintori), including Makabe Yukiko (Amami), he consistently maintains his love for Akie and his innocence. However, contrary to his testimony, evidence supporting his murderous intent is found one after another.
Just then, suspicions of an affair between Joji and Akie's secretary, Yamamoto Rika (Satsukawa), suddenly surface. Kintori's Hishimoto Susumu (Denden) and Koishikawa Haruo (Fumiyo Kohinata) go to the scene of the crime at the Akazawa home and meet Rika, but to their surprise, she makes statements that are unfavorable to Joji.
Meanwhile, strange events begin to occur around Yukiko. The truth behind the incidents emerges, leaving even the Kintori members speechless, saying, "This may be the first case like this."
