The 17th episode of NHK's evening drama "Hirayasumi" (General TV, Monday to Thursday 10:45 pm), starring actor Okayama Amane, will be broadcast on December 1st.
The drama is based on the manga of the same name by Shinzo Keigo, which has been serialized in Weekly Big Comic Spirits since 2021. The story follows 29-year-old part-time worker Ikuta Hiroto (Okayama) who inherits a single-story house from his neighbor, Wada Hanae (Negishi Tokie), and begins living with his 18-year-old cousin Kobayashi Natsumi (Mori Nana), who moved to Tokyo from Yamagata. In the 17th episode, as the weather cools down, Hiroto and Natsumi gather around their first hotpot of the year. As they eat, they talk about how they haven't seen each other recently with Hideki (Yoshimura Kaito).
In reality, Hideki's life is packed with both work and child-rearing. He is constantly scolded by his wife Saki (Misako Renbutsu) for raising his children, and at work he is criticized by elite employee Kiryuin (Mimura Kazuyoshi).
