The popular NHK variety show "Bura Tamori" (General), in which TV personality Tamori visits various towns, will air a segment titled "Nobunaga's Azuchi Castle: The Mysterious Castle that Disappeared in Just Three Years! What Dream Did Nobunaga Have?" from 7:30 PM on November 29th. The segment explores the final dream Nobunaga had in his life at Azuchi Castle, a mythical castle that disappeared in just three years just before Oda Nobunaga unified the country.
The setting for this episode is Azuchi Castle, considered the origin of modern castles. Tamori and his entourage explore Nobunaga's hidden dream in the straight road leading to the castle tower, as well as his elaborate strategy to control Lake Biwa and prosper the castle town. What's more, ancient documents discovered in a house that has stood for over 1,000 years tell the story of a "legendary battle"?
Tamori's travel partner will be NHK Hiroshima announcer Mana Sato, and the narration will be provided by singer-songwriter Aimyon.
