Model and actor Natsuki Kato will make a guest appearance in the eighth episode of the Getsuku drama "Absolute Zero: Information Crime Emergency Investigation" (Fuji TV, Mondays 9pm), starring Yasuko Sawaguchi. This will be Kato's first appearance in a Fuji TV drama in 13 years, since "Nazotoki wa Dinner no Ato de Special" (2012), and her first appearance in a Getsuku drama.
Kato plays Isoda Ryoko, a weekly magazine reporter. When Kana (Shiramoto Ayana), the daughter of Prime Minister Kiritani Kyoko (Itaya Yuka), is kidnapped, DICT launches a top-secret investigation. Meanwhile, her role is to sniff around the Prime Minister's residence and DICT, suspecting that the prime minister may be having personal problems. Furthermore, a deepfake video of Kyoko is spread on social media, sparking controversy over the "adulterous prime minister." Kyoko attends a press conference to reveal the authenticity of the video, but Isoda, who is also present, confronts her with an "expose" he has obtained on his own.
Kato commented, "It's actually been 23 years since I've co-starred with Sawaguchi Yasuko, and it's also a very popular series, so I'm very excited to be appearing. This time, I'm playing the role of Isoda, a political reporter, who just needs a story that sells. I'm curious to see how the story unfolds, and I'm looking forward to seeing how Isoda gets involved. Don't miss it."
