Akari Takaishi stars in the NHK Asadora drama "Bakebake" (General TV, Monday to Saturday 8:00 AM and others). In the ninth week, "Skip to Uguisu," which begins on November 24th, Kana Kita will appear as the new role of Eto Rio.
This is Kita's first appearance in a Asadora. She plays Rio, the daughter of Governor Eto (Shiro Sano), a beautiful and intelligent young lady. Fluent in English, she is deeply attracted to Heaven (Tommy Bastow) who visits Matsue.
The preview for the ninth week, currently available on the drama's official website, also includes a scene in which Rio asks Toki (Takaishi), "Are you my rival?"
"Bakebake" is the 113th morning Asadora. Based on the life of Yakumo Koizumi(Lafcadio Hearn) and his wife Setsu, the story follows the life of a married couple, with the heroine, who loves ghost stories, as she goes about her everyday life with her foreign husband.
