This week's New Releases brings you information on new comics. Approximately 310 major comics will be released between November 25th and 29th. The popular light novel "The Apothecary Diaries," currently being serialized in "Big Gangan" (Square Enix), is currently the subject of much discussion due to the fact that a third season of the anime is being made and a movie is also in the works. Other new releases include volume 16 of the manga "Mobile Suit Moon Gundam," whose story is written by Harutoshi Fukui; volume 8 of "Bocchi the Rock!", which is getting a second season of the anime; and volume 5 of "xxxHOLiC: Rei," the latest work in the "xxxHOLiC" series by the manga creation group CLAMP, which will be released for the first time in about nine years.
On November 25th, the 16th volume of "The Apothecary Diaries," the first official spin-off written by the series' author, Natsu Hyuga, "The Apothecary Diaries Memoirs," volume 1, "Yubiwa wa Tanoshindeshitane" (I hope you had fun last night), which has also been adapted into a live-action TV drama, and volume 16 of "Deadmount Deathplay," based on the original work by Narita Ryogo, known for "Durarara!!" will be released.
On November 26th, the 15th volume of "Mobile Suit Moon Gundam" will be released, as well as the second volume of "Mobile Suit V Gundam Gaiden: Letters from Odelo Henryk," a spin-off commemorating the 30th anniversary of the broadcast of the anime "Mobile Suit V Gundam."
On November 27th, the eighth volume of "Bocchi the Rock!", its spin-off "Bocchi the Rock! Gaiden: Hiroi Kikuri's Heavy Drinking Diary" volume 6, the 35th volume of the popular anime "Black Butler," and the 13th volume of Atsumi Yuiko's four-panel comic "Slow Start" will be released.
On November 28th, store shelves will stock the 15th volume of "Sayonara Hospital," which has been adapted into a live-action drama; the 76th volume of "Tasogare Ryuuseigun"; the 9th volume of "Embryologist Mizuiro" by Mari Okazaki, who is known for works such as "Supple" and "Shibuya-ku Maruyamacho"; the 7th volume of Chiba Tetsuya's autobiographical manga "Hinemosu no Tari Nikki"; and the 117th volume of the long-running "Tsuribaka Nisshi."
On November 29th, volume 5 of "xxxHOLiC・Modou" and other titles will be released.
