Miyamoto Yumi and Miike Naeko, two female police officers from the Traffic Division, were taking a break on a road near a department store when a van being driven recklessly passed by, and Conan, Mitsuhiko, and Ayumi followed it. Conan and the others ran up to a mini-patrol car and told them that Genta had been kidnapped by the same car. A bloody awl was left at the scene.
