The TBS Friday drama "Fake Mummy" (Fridays at 10pm) co-stars actors Haru and Rina Kawaei. The synopsis and stills from the third episode, which will be broadcast on October 24th, have been released.
With the school visit coming up, the students in Class 1-1 of Ryuwa Gakuen Elementary School were writing compositions on the theme of Mother's Day. Iroha (Aoi Ikemura)'s manuscript paper remained completely blank. Kaoru (Haru) was called by her teacher Tomoya (Aoi Nakamura) and told to finish her composition together with Iroha.
When Iroha said she didn't know what to write, Mamie (Kawaei) suggested that the three of them go out together, along with Kaoru. At Iroha's request, they decided to go on a picnic. Mamie also made plans to go see the stars, which Iroha loves.
An unexpected rival appears in the nationwide expansion of Rainbow Juice, the flagship product of RAINBOWLAB, where Mamie is the president. The shelves where Rainbow Juice was meant to be displayed are snatched away. Mamie is forced to make a difficult decision, as she faces a huge loss if she doesn't stop the production line as soon as possible. Will the trouble continue until the day of the picnic...?
The script is based on the winning entry by Sonomura Mitsuru, who won the grand prize at the first TBS NEXT WRITERS CHALLENGE screenplay competition. Hanamura Kaoru, who suddenly quit his job and is struggling to find a new one, meets Hidaka Makie, the company president and single mother, at an interview with the venture company RAINBOWLAB. Makie asks Hanamura to act as a substitute for her daughter Iroha, who is applying to a prestigious private elementary school, at the parent-child interview...
