The drama is an original work by screenwriter Yoshikazu Okada, known for the "Second to Last Love" series. It is a home comedy about three families living in a retro apartment building, with Kitamura and Nakama playing a married couple. This is Kitamura's first lead role in a prime-time terrestrial TV drama.
Jun, the eldest son of the Ogura family, is polite, honest, and kind to everyone. He cares about his mother, sending messages to Ann saying, "Thank you for your hard work this morning. If you keep working hard, you will surely be rewarded." Ann thinks of Jun, "What a good son. You're like an angel."
One day, Jun's younger sister Yuzu (played by Kondo Hana) came to her for advice, saying, "It seems that my parents are going to get divorced when I turn 20..." Jun revealed that her parents had talked about this when she was three years old, and recalled, "I remember, I was about three years old. Even though I was young, I think I understood how hard it was for my mother."
Furthermore, Jun confessed, "I think I wanted to help my mother. I didn't want her to suffer. I think that's why I became such an angelic and good son." He was then shown jokingly saying to Yuzu, "I envy the devil (Yuzu) who grew up happily and comfortably without knowing anything."
On social media, the topic became a hot topic, with comments such as, "So that's the story behind Jun's angel birth," "He knew what he was doing and that's why he was acting like an angel. He's a real angel," "Angels are wonderful, but I hope he doesn't try too hard," and "Jun has become an angelic boy for his mother...I'm a little worried that there won't be any backlash."
