Actors Akira Emoto, Takashi Sasano, and Bsaku Sato will appear on Tetsuko Kuroyanagi's long-running talk show "Tetsuko's Room" (TV Asahi), which will be broadcast at 1:00 p.m. on October 3rd.
The three have been friends for 55 years, having met when they first started acting. Even though they had no money during their early days, they would drink together almost every day and talk about acting. Kuroyanagi bursts into laughter as he recounts the bitter and sweet memories that only close friends who have worked hard together in the world of acting can share.
All three have sons and now grandchildren. Emoto is called "Grandpa" by his grandson, and the other "grandfather," Eiji Okuda, is also called "Grandpa."
