New visuals have been released for the second season of the TV anime " Kaiju No. 8, " based on the popular manga by Naoya Matsumoto that was serialized on Shueisha's manga app "Shonen Jump+." The visuals show Gen Narumi, Kikoru Shinomiya, and Soshiro Hoshina in their special suits.
Gen Narumi controls Number 1, Kikoru Shinomiya controls Number 4, which was once used by his mother Hikari, and Soshiro Hoshina controls Number 10, a highly intelligent being who has been weaponized for the first time while still conscious.The story depicts the elite who control the Numbers.
"Kaiju No. 8" began serialization in "Shonen Jump+" in July 2020 and aired its final episode on July 18th. Set in Japan, a monster superpower where monsters mercilessly invade everyday life, the story follows the adventures of protagonist Kafka Hibino, whose body is transformed into a monster by a mysterious creature. It also garnered attention when it was selected as the Grand Prize winner in the Web Manga category of the "Next Manga Awards 2021." The first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2024. The second season is currently airing every Saturday at 11:00 PM on TV Tokyo.
