A special video has been released on YouTube to commemorate the birthday of Anna Yamada , who appears in the TV anime series " The Dangers in My Heart, " based on the popular manga by Norio Sakurai that is currently being serialized on Akita Shoten's manga site, Champion Cross, on September 10th. The video is packed with all of Anna Yamada's "too cute" charms.
The first wave of advance tickets for the animated feature film "The Dangers in My Heart" has gone on sale. There are two types of tickets, each featuring original illustrations by Ichikawa Kyotaro and Anna Yamada, and when the two are lined up, they create an illustration of Ichikawa and Yamada making a heart shape. Advance tickets come with a special clear file featuring the teaser visual. 1,600 yen.
The film will feature re-edited footage from the TV anime, as well as completely new footage depicting what happens after the second season, including scenes from Kyotaro's sister Kana's live performance and that moment between Ichikawa and Yamada. It is scheduled to be released on February 13, 2026.
"The Dangers in My Heart" began serialization in Weekly Shonen Champion (Akita Shoten) in 2018 and is currently being serialized in Champion Cross (same publisher). It is a youthful romantic comedy about Ichikawa Kyotaro, an introverted boy in the midst of his chuunibyou syndrome, and Anna Yamada, a beautiful, outgoing girl at the top of the school's social hierarchy. It has gained popularity, having been ranked in the men's section of "This Kono Manga ga Sugoi!" for two consecutive years in 2020 and 2021, and winning first place in the web manga category of the Next Manga Awards 2020 in 2020. The comic has sold over 6.5 million copies in total.
The first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2023, and the second season aired from January to March 2024 on TV Asahi's late-night anime slot "NUMAnimation."
