To commemorate the broadcast of season 3 of the TV anime "SPY×FAMILY," based on the manga by Tatsuya Endo currently being serialized on Shueisha's manga app "Shonen Jump+," starting at 11 PM on October 4th on TV Tokyo, it has been announced that the series will collaborate with teen fashion magazine "Seventeen" (Shueisha). Popular characters Anya Forger and Becky Blackbell will appear on the cover of the magazine's fall issue, which goes on sale September 16th. The cover is a newly designed illustration, depicting Anya and Becky wearing high school girl-style uniforms and making heart poses. Anya and Becky's school bags come with Bond charms, their favorite "sheep," and Peanuts badges.
The issue will feature a double interview with Atsumi Tanezaki , who plays Anya , Emiri Kato , who plays Becky, Takuya Eguchi , who plays Lloyd Forger , and Saori Hayami , who plays Yol Forger . In addition to the appeal of "SPY×FAMILY," they will talk about the appeal of voice acting, why they chose this job, and what it was like to be 17 years old, aimed at high school students. As an appendix, it will come with an " Anya Exciting!! School Deco Sticker" using illustrations from the original work.
A model cover version featuring actress Juri Kosaka on the cover will also be released at the same time.
"SPY×FAMILY" began serialization in "Shonen Jump+" in March 2019. The story follows a skilled spy who starts a new life with a temporary family for his mission. The father is a spy, the daughter has psychic powers, and the mother is an assassin, all living together while hiding their true identities. The first season of the anime aired from April to June 2022, the second season from October to December 2022, and season 2 from October to December 2023.
The animated film "Spy × Family Code: White" was released in December 2023 and became a huge hit, grossing over 6.32 billion yen. The comic series has sold over 38 million copies in total.
