Singer Takanori Nishikawa appeared on August 29th, the first day of "Animelo Summer Live (Anisama) 2025 'ThanXX!'", a large-scale anime song live event currently being held at Saitama Super Arena (Chuo Ward, Saitama City).
Nishikawa performed "HEROES," the opening theme song for the TV anime "From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman," and congratulated Anisama on its 20th anniversary. He reflected on his feelings toward Anisama, saying, "I first participated in Anisama in 2011." He declared, "I, Takanori Nishikawa, will stand here as a challenger," and sang "FREEDOM," the theme song for the anime film "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom."
Furthermore, they covered the theme song for the animated film "Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack," the hit song "BEYOND THE TIME - Beyond the Universe of Moebius" by the music unit "TM NETWORK," and the audience was thrilled. The second song they performed, "FREEDOM," was produced by Tetsuya Komuro of TM NETWORK.
Anisama is an anime song festival that began in 2005 and is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. This year's event is scheduled to be held from August 29th to 31st, and will feature a total of 50 artists.
